I have a keen interest in military history and I became very aware about the quality of Austin’s work through word of mouth as well as seeing other excellent work he had done, most notably for Boeing.

I wanted to commission a glass model of CSS HL Hunley and what was produced by Austin is nothing short of breath-taking. Austin researched the subject thoroughly and even spent time in the tank in which the submarine now sits at North Charleston Old Navy Base, so he could get the sense of detail which is a hallmark of his work.

What I have delivered is a clear glass model, to scale, with all the external features as well as seeing the 8 submariners working the propulsion crankshaft inside. It takes pride of place on my boardroom table and is a model most of my visitor’s comment and compliment about. I look at it with admiration for  both Austin and the subject he has bought to life.

I think Austin’s greatest strengths are his perfection and attention to detail. He is an individualist and nothing is too much trouble as long as the end result is there. He is attentive, easy to work with and makes me feel like I am the only customer in the world.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Austin’s ability and work-he is an artist.

I knew when I married my wife, store bought rings were not gonna do.  I got with Melt Glass Foundry and we created a ring set that would make the stars in the universe blush. I had full control of the rings from the design to the metal being used.I carved both of the rings. We melted down solid silver Buffalo coins and  infused the rings with a sprinkle of hair from myself, my wife and our dogs. This is not just a ring. It holds the powers of everything I hold dear to my heart. These rings are supercharged with our love and that my friend you can not buy at a store.

The Glass Wall Sculptures came out great.  Austin had great ideas about how to make the idea and design work.  He has the perfect blend of artistic and technical ability.  He suggested several different designs and color combination and devoted a lot of time and effort to get it just right.  Thank you Austin for a unique and beautiful piece of art.   I love my  Mardi Gras Beads Glass Wall Sculptures.
